This quilt started with some ripped cardboard. The ripping exposed the hidden corrugated cardboard and fascinating light and dark spaces. Presently I have a passion for japanese material, because I love the textures, unusual colours and the quality of the fabric. I found this material perfect for the effect I was looking to achieve in this quilt.20" x 50" 2009
